Dental implants are suitable for most adults who have one or more missing teeth, or who are unhappy with how their dentures or bridges are performing. To be a candidate, you generally need healthy gums and enough jawbone to support the implant - although in cases where bone has been lost we can often build it up first with bone grafting.
