Routine check-ups
A dental check-up is where it all starts. We examine your teeth, gums and soft tissues, take any X-rays needed, do a routine oral cancer screening, and give you tailored advice on keeping things healthy at home. Most check-ups take around 15 to 20 minutes, with a longer first appointment for new patients.
Routine examinations at Teamcare start from £69, with new patient examinations from £55 (bite wing X-rays included).

Dental hygiene
A professional hygiene appointment removes the plaque and tartar that brushing alone can't shift, leaving your gums healthier and your teeth feeling fresher. We also offer Airflow polishing for stain removal - perfect for tea, coffee or red wine drinkers - and longer perio appointments for patients with gum disease.
Standard hygiene visits start at £83, with Airflow polishing and combined options also available.
Emergency appointments
When something goes wrong with your teeth - severe toothache, a broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, an abscess - you need to be seen quickly. We do our best to fit emergency cases in the same day, with calm, reassuring care designed to take the panic out of an already stressful moment.
Emergency appointments are £85, including bite wing and one periapical X-ray to diagnose the issue.
White fillings
White (composite) fillings repair teeth damaged by decay, chips or wear, blending in with your natural tooth so the result is virtually invisible. We use modern, mercury-free composite materials that bond directly to the tooth, preserving more of your natural tooth structure than older silver fillings.
White fillings start from £184.
Denplan membership
If you'd prefer to spread the cost of your routine dental care into one simple monthly payment, our Denplan membership covers your check-ups and hygiene visits, with worldwide dental emergency cover included. Members also receive a discount on additional treatments needed beyond the included routine care.
There's no sign-up fee and no minimum term.

There is no doubt that this long established dental practice in Bedford is exceptional. The team are professional, sensitive and understanding. I have benefitted from both their private and NHS care over the years and cannot fault either. Workmanship is always of the highest standard. They do have a good emergency service from 9am to 10am which is a real god send for when you get those rare toothaches etc. I did have a few problems with the latter once due to staff sickness and a faulty router, but I am sure they have put in place practices to resolve those issues should they arise again in the future.
Teamcare Dental Practice is honestly amazing! The best move I ever made was to them. I suffer with so much anxiety and I get really worked up on going. I have recently had my first crown fitted and I was so worried Dr Murphy put me at ease and talked through with me the whole process. Honestly can't recommend them enough! My children now go there and they are great with them. From the receptionist to the dentists the whole process is so calm and reassuring.
