What is Invisalign and how does it work?
Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of clear, removable aligners instead of fixed metal braces. Each set is made to fit your teeth and gently moves them, a little at a time, towards their new position.
You'll wear each set for a week or two before moving on to the next. They come out to eat, drink anything other than water and brush, so there are no food rules to worry about. For the best results, you'll wear them for 20 to 22 hours a day.
Invisalign suits most adults and teenagers with crowding, gaps, or mild to moderate bite issues, including teeth that have shifted since braces years ago. Some cases are better suited to fixed braces, and if that's you, we'll say so.
